Frame Drums

Similar to tambourines but without jingles, Frame Drums are one of the earliest types of drum depicted in human anthropology. They have a rich history in Ireland as Bodhran Drums, as Daikos from Japan, as Pandeiros from Brazil, as well as several countries in the Middle East.
Today Frame drums are used in a variety of stages, from beginners to Broadway productions.
We invite you to stop by the shop and have a look yourself!

We carry a fine array of beautiful and great sounding frame drums, with plenty of mallets and beaters as well.
