Greetings all,
As we gear up for our 30th year, we here at Rhythm Traders have been flashing back to all of the great experiences we've had over the years. Through Rhythm Traders, we have been lucky enough to meet great people, travel around the world, be involved in some incredible musical situations and maybe best of all, we have been allowed the honor to be of service to the best community of drummers on the planet.
Even though these times are a little trying, we appreciate your continued support and we look forward to another 30 years.
With that said, we are starting this series of video blog posts to let you experience the last 30 years of Rhythm Traders through our eyes. We're going to call them "Monday Memories" and it will be a trip down memory lane through video and a little background
First up. This was one of the best nights ever. We were on tour with our good friend and incredible drummer Eduardo Velazquez. This was in Santa Clara, Cuba at a concert with Chispa y los Complices during the Cuban version of Mardi Gras. Great band. Eduardo is a remarkable player. Very powerful, creative and concise with his grooves. As great of a drummer as he is, he is an even better person. Check him out in action about 13 years ago and stay tuned for more "Memory Mondays"
