Greetings all,
We're going to come back to the United States for this episode of Monday Memories. In fact, we're going to the second home of Rhythm Traders in NE Portland, Oregon. Back when we were still "African Rhythm Traders". This was a shoot for the local early morning TV show "Good Day Oregon". Thanks to all the great drummers who got up at the crack-of-dawn, including Lions of Batucada, Chata Addy, Caton Lyles, Tyrone, Roland Diehl, Carl Smith, Virginia Lopez, Cathy Evelshin, Pauline Serrano and many others. Most of the players in this video are still dear friends to this day. A bit of Portland history. Such a good time. Enjoy!
